The Analysis Mechanical and Physical Properties on the Agricultural Insect-Proof and the Nonweaving Net

This thesis primarily studies the mechanical property with image process technology. The properties of Insect-Proof net and the Nonweaving net include size of mesh wire, porosity, tension strength, and the tear strength. These properties were analyzed with analysis of variance to test their difference in statistics. There are three brands of samples tested in here whose size of mesh is 32×32 of Insect-Proof, Their tension strengths were (A) 120.286±10.136 N, (B) 118.591±19.140 N, and (C)120.498±9.013 N with no significant difference of =0.05. The tear strength of three brands was (A) 9.361±0.604N, (B) 9.820±2.299N, and (C) 9.310±1.2385 N, respectively which were also not significant difference. This result indicated that tested products were qualified with the standard. With image technique, the factor of porosity was (A) 50.083%, (B) 49.102%, (C) 50.435%, while hole size area (A)0.345 mm2, (B)0.346 mm2, (C)0.343 mm2, line diameter (A) 0.214±4.798 mm (B) 0.220±0.620 mm, (C)0.205±0.527 mm. Their differences were obvious. The results of this study may provide manufacturers and the user for their references.
