Implementation of the Driver and Controller for the Brushless DC Motor

The purpose of this paper is to develop a set of driver and controller system which can be used on household electronics or industrial automation. The system is built on a DSP using TMS320LF2407A as its core and contains protection circuit, the power actuation electric circuit, the rotational speed display circuit and the external interrupt electric circuit. In the system control, input the relative position signal of present rotational speed and rotator to approximate the rotational speed. Then, determine the converter signal through the proportional-integral controller and driver the power device through the photocoupler, run the DC brushless motor and create the closed loop rotational speed control system by using this control signal. During the experimental process, firstly, aim at controlling the increasing and decreasing speed of motor travel cycle, analyze and verify the stability of the driver system of ourselves-designed DC brushless motor. About the system power analysis, different rotational speed, switching technology, and switching frequency are used to treat the power consumption of the closed-loop rotation speed system.
