A Study on Operational Pattern of Volunteer Team in Sport

| Popis: | 95 The purpose of this study was to explore the operational pattern of volunteer team in sport in Kaohsiung City, Chiayi City, and Changhua County, and the differences of background, participation behavior and participants’ viewpoints. Relative literatures of volunteer services were discussed to be the basic theory. The interviews and the questionnaire of sport volunteer are conducted and the data and information were collected to analyze by descriptive statistics, factor analysis, one-way MANOVA and Chi-square. The results showed that aerobic activities were held by Education Bureau, Kaohsiung City Government and volunteer teamwork was conducted by schools. Kaohsiung World Games 2009 was planed by Logistical Support Department. Chiayi City Athletic Federation promotes volunteer of sport. The volunteer of Changhua Stadium manages volunteer team and develops the four patterns, including school pattern, event pattern, athletic federation pattern and family leadership pattern. In addition, service others is the main motivation for sport volunteer. The friendship is the main factor for participation and the service time is about 3 hours or so. The age, education, occupation, salary, and type of volunteer are significant. Finally, several suggestions are come up based on the results for reference. |
