The effects of recycling plastic bags on the composition analysis of municipal wastes：A case study of Taichung City

| Popis: | 95 The plastic bags are most widely used today in the world. In Taiwan, incineration is one of the widespread technologies for handling municipal waste. However, the chlorinity of waste causes pollutants such as dioxins and furans when they are at high temperature. Dioxins can be decreased if we could prevent plastic bags from throwing into the incinerators. The purpose of this study is to provide the information for the relation between recycling plastic bags and decreasing dioxins from incinerators. The result is not enough to prove the policy of recycling plastic bags facilitates incinerators to decrease dioxins because of the interference of industrial waste. In addition, this study suggests establishing a suitable category of waste sampling to facilitate the waste management and recycling resource. To be in line with world trend of resource recycling, using the date from waste investigation to achieve the goal of zero landfill, total recycle or all-sorts and zero-waste. |
