This research is mainly taking the process conditions of microcellular injection molding technology to probe into possible effects on polypropylene/SWN Nanocomposite mechanical properties. Polypropylene/SWN Nanocomposite is taken as the matrix for molding, and N2 is taken as the blowing agent. To find out the factor that has the hugest effect on the mechanical properties of Polypropylene/SWN Nanocomposite, Design of Experiments (DOE) is applied for checking different conditions like SWN contents, Supercritical Fluid (SCF) contents, melt temperature, injection speed…, and etc. Meanwhile, Single-Parameter Method is applied on some process conditions like different SWN contents, Supercritical Fluid (SCF) contents, melt temperature, injection speed, short shot volume to understand the individual effect on the variation of mechanical properties. According to the research results, SWN and SCF contents are top critical factors for the tensile strength and impact strength. Single-Parameter Method also proves the rise of SWN contents, melt temperature and injection speed would reduce of tensile strength. For impact strength, it decreased with the rise of SWN and SCF contents and increased with the rise of melt temperature. For flexural strength, it enhanced with the increase of SWN contents, and dropped with the rise of melt temperature and injection speed.
