This study aims at creating the artworks, composed of the graceful, female body images and imaginary forms specific in their life settings. Emphases are placed on the perceptual quality of visual forms, in order to communicate the voices from the female soul and promote the author''s own ability and skills for artistic expression. Three aspects of inquiry are engaged though this study. First, reviewing the literature concerning especially to female paintings, for understanding their basic concepts, contents, and formal qualities, in order to examine the ideas and set the goals for the creative project. Second, analyzing the existing master works by female artists for the visual images and symbols, to know the ways of using the feminine images in painting. Third, and the last, conducting the creative project of watercolor based series of works, composed of the feminine images and symbols. Results from the first two aspects of study indicate that the male and female artists tend to interpret the feminist themes in different ways, not only at the starting point, but through the process where changes may occur due to the external or internal causes and bring about various types of images. In addition, the author has found in herself that the project study enables her to communicate her own feeling and knowing about the feminist concerns in art, and express more freely her own life experiences, through the works of higher aesthetic quality. She further urges herself to continue exploring the beauty of Nature and creating more images of beauty, grace and meanings.
