Popis: | 95 Channel coding occupies a very important place in reliable data transmission. Since 1948 the father of information theory Shannon proposed the so-called Shannon limit, many scientists and mathematicians are committed to achieving this goal. Then many famous coding methods were released such as Hamming Code, Reed-Solomon Code, Viterbi Code, Turbo Code, and Low-Density Parity-Check (LDPC) Code. Turbo Code and LDPC Code are very close to the Shannon limit, and have been widely used in communication products recently. In this thesis, we study a new coding method called Raptor Codes, an extension of LT Codes. Both LT and Raptor codes are produced by the concept of Fountain Codes. |
