Popis: | 95 The lattice Boltzmann method, LBM, has been demonstrated as a powerful tool for simulation of fluid dynamics and a relatively simple model for complex hydrodynamics. Three models that have been developed for multi-phase flows are the two-color model, free energy model as well as the potential model. Among them, the two-color model is comparatively straightforward but suffers from the unstable problem as fluids with large density difference are considered. The objective of the present study is to understand the source that causes the instability and to propose a possible resolving scheme. Results show that the instability source origins from the uncorrected pressure term on the phase interface. With suitable modification of the pressure term, more reasonable result can be obtained. |
