The Application of Two Zones Diffractive Optical Elementin Dual-focused Objective Lens for DVD and CD

Popis:	94 In this study, we use the construction composed of two zones diffractive optical element to design a dual-focused objective lens of pick-up head for CD/DVD optical storage. At first we referred to the lens specifications of famous company, and choose one for slim optical storage. When we start the design of objective lens, we need to consider some situations, such as image height, lens tilt, disc tilt, and the shift of working wavelength induced by thermal effect, to confirm the quality of optical spot. Input the specifications required for the optical system and initial values of lens in ZEMAX which is optical design software. After setting variables and merit functions, we then start the optimizations. IF the optical quality arrived at our goals, we can finish the design.
