A study on implement EAP in retirement of the risk management for the middle-up aged employees.

The study tries to adopt the theory of risk management to understand the risk of employment welfare for middle-up aged workers. Under the communication between employees and employers, the study tries to find their thought of the relative issues, and reduce a wide gap of both sides. Moreover, EAP (Employee Assistance Programs, EAP) is the system of employer implement for employee’s benefit. How does EAP help the employees after their retirement? That is the main theme the study wants to discuss with. Therefore, the study has the following three purposes: 1.To view business’s difference that implement EAP for retirement system and cognition of risk of retirement. 2.To understand the difference between middle-and-old employees’ cognition of risk of retirement and retired indemnification and formulation in the business without implementing EAP. 3.To compare the difference views between the employees and the manager of employee’s benefits. Then, explore that how to help manage risk of r retirement for these middle-and-old employees, and think how to promote employer’s volition to provide more completed retirement system. The present study adopts method of Qualitative Research and Semi-structured interview. Interview a manager of employees’ benefit and a middle-and-old employee in the same industry. On the other hand, interview an internal EAP business, an exterior EAP company, and two businesses without implementing EAP. Use content analysis and comparative methodology to analyze data. After analyzing the employees and the manager of employees’ benefits individually, compare the two sides deeply. The major conclusions for this study as follows: 1.The country holds the leading role in the risk of retirement management of middle-up aged employees. 2.The complete system of the retired enforcement in a business are the internal EAP mode, then the exterior EAP mode, and finally the business without EPA; whereas, the complete formulation of risk of retirement for employees are the employees of internal EAP mode, then the exterior EAP mode and finally the business without EPA。 3.The factors which affected the planning of retiring employees are three dimensions, included cognition, planning and system, i.e. (it means) the employees understand the risk of retirement, obtain the help of retirement system of business and it could be contributive to the completeness of retirement project which employees plan. 4.The risk of retirement accompanies with the static risk and the dynamic risk, and risk of factors included social environment and individual dimension. These two parts are the main factors which affected the risk of retirement of personal & family. If the employees realized the existence of risk, and using all the resources to manage the risk, then it could result in the difference of retired life. 5.According to (In) the formulation of retirement system, exterior EAP specialist is deeply affected by the employer is larger, but internal EAP specialists who have stronger independency can establish the welfare base on their professional knowledge and the requirement/question of employees.
