When facing with global turbulent environment and the challenges of marketing competition, the business top managers will have to strengthen the core competence and create added-value for their companies. However, how to gain the maximum profit in the age of low-profit and fierce pricing war is repetitively challenging the decision makers’ wisdom. How to efficiently grasp the internal and external information based on which the business decisions are made has a direct impact on the need of the Executive Information System (EIS) through which the timely information is produced. This study explores the implementation methodology and the key success factors of the EIS systems, through the discussion of BSC (Balance Score Card) and EIS related theory, business key performance indicators (KPIs), implementation process, as well as the strategy and benefit analysis after the system’s go-live. Hopefully, this experience sharing of EIS system and management practices in the hi-tech industry can be beneficial to those who have not or who have intention to implement EIS. It can also serve as a reference for future diagnosis analysis and scholar research.
