Popis: | 94 Factories, land reclamation and petrochemical industries have fueled the prosperous development of economy, which in turn transforms the sparsely populated countries into cities with dense population. The urbanization of countries not only brings economic growth but also enhances calls for the improvement and protection of the environment. The main subject of this research is a BTEX-polluted area in a petrochemical industrial park. This research is mainly concerned with the remediation by SVE (Soil Vapor Extraction) and AS (Air Sparging), to look into the residual BTEX soil and contamination at small sites in the condition of using 5% hydrogen peroxide for the off-site, on-site and in-situ remediation experiments. The analysis of the reaction rate, reaction-coefficient and removal ratio of these 3 experiments’ is shown as follows: 1. In the off-site, on-site or in-site remediation experiments, they would find fast degration reaction when the short time hydrogen peroxide contact with Ground-Water BTEX-Contaminated. And the reaction slow down later.. 2. Because of mixture sufficiently, The BTEX degration rate is not concerned with concentration, in the Off-site remediation experiment. For the setting or other reasons, reaction rate is related to concentration(higher concentration, higher degration rate)in the On-site, In-Situ remediation experiments. 3. The removal ratio of BTEX were Benzene>Toluene>M/P-Xylene>O-Xylene >Ethyl-Benzene for the off-site, on-site and in situ remediation experiments. - iii - The in-situ remediation experiment show that 3-hour reaction of 5% hydrogen peroxide in the BTEX-polluted ground water achieves more than 95% removal ratio. In addition, hydrogen peroxide is cheap and could not damage the environment. It is suggested that Fenton,s reagent is connected with AS and SVE remediations, It will be more effective. |
