The study of how informative, persuasive, participative and authorized leadership styles relate to job satisfaction and organization commitment- An empirical study of CPC's part-time employees in Tao-Yuan, Xin-Zhu, and Miao-Li

The major purpose of this study is to establish a structural equation model which involves leadership, work satisfaction, and organization commitment. By literature review, this study separates the leadership style from four types: (1) informative leadership (2) persuasive leadership (3) participative leadership (4) authorized leadership. This study tries to find out the suitable leadership for the part-time employees of CPC by using these leaderships, and the results can be a reference resource when CPC’s manager needs to make an operation strategy. Depending on the analysis of real evidences, this research results to three main implications: 1. Findings from statistic descriptive analysis The part-time employees’ sex of CPC is almost man, and most of their level of education is senior high, and the information was also showed that CPC’s turnover rate is a little bit high. This study finds out the four types of leadership are normal in CPC, and these leadership types can affect the employees’ work satisfaction, and organization commitment. 2. Research theory model fit discovery According to the fit test of structural equation modeling, it was pointed that whole theory model of this study meets the standard of fit test. Moreover, it can be proof that this model was supported. To sum up, the result shows the influential relationship among the three concepts. 3. The influential relationship among leadership style, work satisfaction, and organization commitment. According to the data analysis process, the four types of leadership have a positive influence on work satisfaction and organization commitment. The results also showed that work satisfaction has a positive influence on organization commitment. It’s worthy to note that authorized leadership has a greater influence on work satisfaction than informative leadership does. In summary, the finding can be a reference of the guiding for future management.
