Popis: | 93 The conditions for the self-organized formation of ordered hexagonal structures in anodic alumina were investigated in acidic electrolyte containing oxalic acid, phosphoric acid or sulfuric acid. Specimen of high purity (99.995%) aluminum where used and fabricated to produce nano-scale pores of anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) in this work. The diameter and thickness of the pores, and the inter-pore distances of AAO are found to be influenced by the applied voltage, electrolyte composition, electrolytic time, and electrolytic temperature. Moreover, the diameter of pores obtained from the phosphoric acid electrolytes was greater than those obtained from oxalic or sulfuric acid electrolytes. The nano-scale pores of the AAO obtained in this work could be used as a template for the fabrication of nano-scale metals. |
