Nowadays, the increasing number of people utilizes the internet so that more and more new service are developed and participated. Crossbar Switch Architecture within multiprocessor system and asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) is often proposed to apply under interconnection fabric. However, the packet of asynchronous transfer mode is unpredictable and becomes output contention. In order to solve the problem of output contention, crossbar switch will require buffers to buffer packets. In the past, there are many studies executed unicast under this architecture; moreover, numbers of Internet programs (such as distant visual meeting) allows one sender transit packet a group of receivers, which is so-called multicast. Recently, input queue have been utilized in many researches to deal with multicast. But the broad-width offered by crossbar switch is much lower than the possible broad-width, where node causes the traffic in the whole network. This research proposes crossbar interconnection switch architecture, where each input port owns individual input queue, and every node has one to many numbers of buffers. Such architecture does not require high memory space or high speed of interior unit transmission queue. The analysis will focus on the packet contention within nodes and the speed of transmission through traffic management and then the adjustment of the numbers of buffers within crosspoint, as to achieve low cell loss ratio efficiently.
