Popis: | 93 The Study of the Physiological-related factors Stimulated by Different Exercise Environment of Obese Elementary Students Abstract This study was to investigate all subjects who pontificated in the different exercise environment(on land and on water by turn, experimental group)and single-exercise training(control group)effect on the physiological-related factors in the obese students. The subjects were 32 obese (BMI≧22) students, average aged 11.6±0.91 years, who were volunteers and healthy, and participated exercise training of 50∼70%maximal heart rate reserve, 3 times/week, 50 min/day for 12 weeks. The physiological factors in this study included Leptin, body composition, concentration of blood lipid, and the level of physical fitness. The further study investigated changes of weights, BMI, percentage of physical fat, and the ratio of waist/hip, the related-indicators of obesity, for all subjects. Physical exercise and time served as independent variables of the study and physiological index served as dependent variables. Two-way ANOVA was employed for statistical analysis. Pearson product-moment correlation was employed to explore the relation’s hip an org variables. A significant level was set α=.05. The results of this study were as follows. 1. The experimental group for BMI, concentration of blood fat, and ratio of waist/hip decreased but no significant difference showed when compared to the control group. But a significant loss of weight was detected for the experimental group. 2. The experimental group had increased physical fitness, e.g., modified sit and reach, one-minute sit-ups, and still jump. But no significance was found while compared to the control group. However, the experimental group had their cardio respiratory fitness significantly improved in the 800-meter running and walking. 3. The experimental group had their blood lipid (TC, TG) reduced though no significant difference showed while compared to the control group. The former had their LDL-C and HDL-C remarkably improved than the latter. 4. A significant drop of Leptin was noticed among the experimental group. The experimental group had a more remarkable Leptin drop than the control group. Keywords: different exercise environment, obese, Leptin, Blood lipid, Health fitness, BMI. |
