On the Rythms and rhymes of Shin Chia-Hsuan Poetry

| Popis: | 93 The rhymes of Chia-Hsuan Poetry are classified into eighteen sections hopefully which can reflect the difference between the practical speech sounds and the verses and give an insight into the outline of the usage of phonetics in Southern Song Dynasty. The thesis is separated into seven chapters. The first chapter includes the motivation of research, research methods, ranges and the results of the former researchers. The second chapter is regarding Chia-Hsuan’s biography and her artistic style in literature. The third chapter is regarding the charts of the application of Chia-Hsuan poetry. The fourth chapter is relevant to the scores of combinaton rhymes. The order of arrangement is based on Tz’u-Lin-Cheng-Yun from the first section to the eighteenth section studying the usage of the combination and separation of the rhymes. The fifth chapter is the discussion of the usage of combination rhymes. Chia-Hsuan applied an extensive rhymes, for example, she followed the pioneers to rhyme, or she obeyed the local sounds to rhyme. This is the reason why there are so many instances of the shen rhyme in Yi section. However Yi section has general rhymes which have similar sounds. According to this, the old or late sounds, and the relation between the local sounds and the usage of rhymes can be inferred. The sixth chapter is the research of the application of rhymes on pretenting sounds. To compare the medieval-anchient sounds based on The Sound Chart of Ancient and Contemporary Han Words with the modern sounds based on The Collection of Local sounds in Han Language, the development of the rhymes in Chia-Hsuan poetry can be inducted. The seventh chapter is conclusion employing the charts of the relation between the rhyme sections in order to present the relation between general and shen rhymes in Chia-Hsuan poetry, and the comparison charts of different schools to understand the characteristics of the rhyme section in Chia-Hsuan poetry.
