Correlations among Organizational Culture, Perceptions on Key Success Factors of Business Re-engineering and Job Performance: A Case Study of The Liberty Times

Popis: | 93 The research probes the correlations among organizational culture, perceptions on KSFs of BR and job performance in The Liberty Times. This study is conducted by “questionnaire survey” and “in-depth interviews” It takes the method of “stratified proportional sampling” to sample 300 people from managers and employees in The Liberty Times. A total of 284 questionnaires were returned, and 278 were evaluated as valid. The valid questionnaires are 93%. The questionnaires are to probe their perceptions on organizational culture and KSFs of BR, and the appraisal of their job performance. Moreover, adopting in-depth interviews to explain and analyze the research results of questionnaire survey for adding its depth and profundity. From the results of the analysis in this study, the main findings of research are: 1. Departments in The Liberty Times show obvious differences in organizational culture. Editing department and advertising department are “prudential-pressured culture”. Published department is “bureaucratic culture” and “harmonious-supportive culture”. Printing department is “bureaucratic culture” and “prudential-pressured culture”. 2. The members in the Liberty Times emphasize on “objective integration” and then “digital service”. Departments in The Liberty Times show obvious differences in cognitions on “organizational execution”, “objective integration” and “effects of leadership”. 3. The “Task and ethic performance” are higher than the “context and attitude performance” in every department in The Liberty Times, especially for obeying, coordinating and interactive. Departments in The Liberty Times show obvious differences in “task and ethic performance”. Departments in The Liberty Times show no obvious differences in “context and attitude performance”. 4. Organizational culture can efficiently forecast the cognitions on KSFs of BR. Editing and advertising department, which are prudential-pressured culture, emphasize on “digital service” KSFs of BR. Published, management, and printing department, which are “bureaucratic culture”, emphasize on “organizational execution”, “objective integration” and “effects of leadership” KSFs of BR. 5. The cognitions on KSFs of BR can efficiently forecast job performance. Departments which emphasize “effects of leadership” will have high “task and ethic performance”. Departments which emphasize “digital service” will have high “context and attitude performance” 6. The cognitions of organizational culture, KSFs of BR and job performance show obvious differences in each department of the Liberty Times.
