Popis: | 93 Three-phase four-wire distribution power systems have been widely used in office buildings and distribution power system. The loads connected to the three-phase four-wire active power filter may be either single-phase or three-phase loads. If the loads are unbalanced, and the unbalanced load current also flows in the neutral conductor. Moreover, the nonlinear loads have been used widely recently. Conventionally, passive power filters were conventionally used to solve the problem of harmonic pollution, however, they have some disadvantages. Hence, some power electronic based active power facilities have been developed to improve harmonics, recently. At the same, time it can supress harmonic and improve power factor simultaneously. Firstly, the analysis of the Zig-Zag transformer to attenuate the neutral current of the three-phase four-wire distribution power system is carried out. Then, a three-phase four-wire power filter comprising a three-phase three-wire active power filter and a Zig-Zag transformer is developed. However, the performance of this three-phase four-wire power filter is not good in attenuating the neutral current under the nonideal utility voltage conditions. Thus, a simplified control method for the four-leg three-phase four-wire active power filter method is proposed. Furthermore, the computer simulation and a hardware prototype are developed and tested to verify the performance of the Zig-Zag transformer, the three-phase four-wire power filter comprising a three-phase three-wire active power filter and a Zig-Zag transformer three-phase four-wire active power filter, and a four-leg three-phase four-wire active power filter. |
