Popis: | 93 Energy saving is a critical issue for wireless sensor networks. Sensor nodes are wireless devices limited in scales, battery capacity and storages. Due to these limitations, many routing protocols and related issues are addressed extensively to differentiated from conventional routing protocols in recent decades. In this thesis, we propose an optimal energy saving scheme which is improved by collaborating two concepts: Redundant signaling suppression scheme and low-energy adaptive clustering. The rationale behind our design concept is to consider the following facts in sensor networks. Nodes running in similar areas may sense the redundant data. Moreover, wireless environment tends to drop package frequently and suffers the noise interference easily. To improve the system efficiency, we propose a novel signaling exchange mechanism for wireless sensor networks to eliminate redundant data, to prevent dropping packets and to ensure the completeness of the sensed data. Nodes with same data will select a candidate from the signaling exchange process. This candidate will then find a shortest path to convey data back to the sink directly or via its cluster-head. We assume that all sensor nodes are homogeneous, stationary and uniformly distributed in tested field. We proposed an energy-aware routing protocol for the sensor networks, which collaborates the concepts of signaling exchange, cluster-base architecture, data aggregation and broadcast. Numerical results show that our proposed method can greatly improve the system the lifetime of sensor nodes. It also enhances and system stability ensure the completeness of the sensed data at the same time. |
