The purpose of this research is to realize whether or not the existence and the forms of feedback message will have impact on examinees score and response speed in the computer-based testing (CBT),and to discover examinees'' attitude to the CBT. The forms of the feedback message, independent variable of this research, include no feedback message, simple feedback message, and positive emotional supporting feedback message. Answer Results, the dependent variable, includes examinees'' average answering time per item and their scores. After the test, the examinees were asked to filled out the “computer-based testing attitude scale”. The FastTest professional and the items of the Basic Competence Math Test for Junior High School Students were used to construct the CBT. Within-subjects designs were used in this research. The data was analyzed by the ANOVA of “randomized block design”. The results were described briefly as follows: 1.The forms of feedback neither affect the score nor affect the response speed in CBT. Thus, the feedback message didn''t result in the decrease of examinees'' answering speed, nor the answering result. 2.The results of computer-based testing attitude scale demonstrated that around 80% examinees wish to get the feedback message in CBT,at the same time, around 70% examinees show that the feedback message make them more carefully when they answering items. To sum up, the forms of feedback didn''t affect the examinee''s score and response speed. Regarding the attitude, most examinees wish to get the feedback message in the answering process of CBT. The appearance of the feedback messages would not cause any negative interference on examinees, such as nervous feelings, answering speed, and score. Therefore, the researcher thinks it is acceptable to add feedback message during the CBT.
