Evaluation on Asynchronous Distance Education-with S.H.E. and Life Course as an Example.

| Popis: | 92 It is apparent that people are paying more and more attention to S.H.E. (Safety, Health and Environment) activities, so it is necessary to improve people’s knowledge of S.H.E. as soon as possible. Currently, our country is advocating the D.E. (Distance Education), therefore, it is the right time to converse the contents of ‘S.H.E. and Life’ course into multimedia form and to set up an educational website for it, such that people may take ‘S.H.E. and Life’ course flexibly to increase their S.H.E. knowledge. The methods and procedures of this study included literature search and analysis, conversion of the contents of the ‘S.H.E. and Life’ course into PowerPoint files for lecturing in a presentation way, set-up of an educational website to provide related information, digital-video taping the process and contents of the class, delivering the contents of S.H.E. and Life’s course in a form of compact disk to the students, questionnaire survey to understand students’ opinions and recommendations about the course. Comparing the students’ grades in asynchronous distance education with those in the traditional pedagogy, we observed that the former ones are better than the latter ones. |
