Popis: | 91 This study examines the effects of mass media campaign of Dengue Fever on its preventive knowledge, attitude, and practice in Taiwan. For this undertaking an evaluative model if formulated and tested by a case study in the East District of Taichung City through the use of sampling survey data. The analytical results indicate that a great majority of people have been exposed to the Dengue Fever advertisement from mass media campaign and have its preventive knowledge, attitude, and practice at time of interview. As compared with the status before exposure to the Dengue fever advertisement, the KAP has significantly increased. The finding seems to suggest that the mass media campaign of Dengue Fever is effective to provide information of Dengue Fever in Taiwain. Among mass media, television is the most accessible and effective media, followed by newspaper, and radio in order. |
