Popis:	91 Wheelchairs are traditionally designed for lower limbs disable as assistive device. The wheelchair industries in Taiwan are mainly focused on the assembling, OEM and mass production for exports. The manual-wheelchair and electric wheelchairs are based on the European and American standards which were not fully adapted to wheelchair users of our country, so that the users must readapt to the original design. It will increase the burden for the application of the users. This research applied the QFD (Quality Function Deployment) to the manual-wheelchair. The requirement of customers have been collected from the questionnaires. The users have to be taken into consideration, and then the QFD method will translate the needs of manual-wheelchair users into product characteristics, and then use PDPC to develop the new manual-wheelchair conceptual design.
