協助國中生利用網路資源進行理化學習的行動研究

The aim of this action research is to study the influence of internet resources on students’ science learning. The main questions of this study include: 1. What problems encountered in the study, and what reflection and revision been made to improve the students’ science learning? 2. What attitudes and opinions did the sample students have about using internet resources to help science learning? 3. What kinds of contents and presentations are most helpful for students’ science learning? The sample are low level students of a junior high school in middle Taiwan. Internet resources were used to facilitate students’ review on science concepts. The teaching activity lasted for two months. The research was divided into three sections. During each section, the researcher first carried an instruction process, and then reflection and revision were made according to the data collected. The results of this research show: 1. Students disoriented easily when browsing the internet resources. However, if teacher control the whole learning process, the students’ individual differences can’t be take care. The study shows that guided learning is the most helpful way for students’ learning. 2. Most students feel that using internet resources to learn is interesting and they hope to continue learning by this way. 3. The webs that draw students’ attention and facilitate to learning have five features in common: (1) Creative and simple. (2) Can be manipulated on line. (3) Well-arranged and easy to read and having examples for practice. (4) Having linkages to experiments or references. (5) Having great visual and audio effects.
