Popis: | 91 Full-scale tests were performed to investigate the effluent and deformation of a 1.7mf, 12m-long woven geotextile tube containing dredged material. Some reduce-scaled model tests using 0.17mf, 1.2m-long woven geotextile tubes containing dredged material were also performed to investigate the stability of stacked geotextile tubes. Physical properties of the dredged material have been examined thoroughly prior to the full-scale and model tests. Results of full-scale tests showed that water content of the dredged material decreased rapidly after the completion of filling. The concentration of suspended solids in the effluent was very low. Results of model testsshowed that the stability of stacked geotextile tubes can be effectively increased by placing geogrids between the layers of tube. Therefore, dams constructed using stacked geotextile tubes appears to be a feasible way for containing the dredged material. |
