Popis: | 91 Under the severe global competitions, the requirements from the merchandisers to the suppliers are become more and more stringent, especially with those own brand. However, in order to maintain and sustain the competitiveness, it is essential to become one of the suppliers for brand merchandisers’. Therefore, this study investigates three factors — relationship dimension, product dimension, and suppliers’ characteristic dimension which influences the purchasing results. This research is quantitative. The Linear Structure Relations (LISREL) is used for: (1) reliability and validity analysis, (2) hypothesis testing with T-test and nested models analysis, and (3) decision-tree analysis to evaluate and modify the model finally. The research findings are: (1) The certification plays the most important role in the relationship dimension, the personal relationship next; (2) The product quality is the main factor to affect the merchandising performance in the product dimension; (3) The purchasing quantity will be affected by the suppliers’ reputation and service in the supplier’s characteristic dimension. However, service has more impact than reputation. The results indicate that to secure certification from brand merchandiser and maintain high and stable quality and services are imperative. The findings hope to provide good references to Taiwan textile suppliers for future direction and efforts need to be put in. |
