Popis: | 90 The main purpose of the study is to explore the first-grade student’s off task-behaviors and factors under the different teaching conditions. Furthermore, explore the relation between off-task behaviors and student’s learning products. In the study, the researcher observed one student who always showed off-task behaviors in the classroom. Qualitative research methods were adapted during the seven-month. Data sources included participant-observation, interviews with school teacher, kindergarten teacher, and his parents, and his learning products and papers. The findings of the research are as follows: 1.Under the different teaching conditions, case student has the different performance of behaviors. (1)The concrete task needs to be carried out, and the concrete task is interesting, then the case student produces many of the task behaviors. (2)Although have no the concrete task to carry out, but the course or the activity is vivid and interesting, then the case student produces many of the task behaviors. (3)The concrete task needs to be carried out, but a general routine task, then the case student produces many of the off-task behaviors. (4)Have no the concrete task to carry out, and the course is depressed, the case student produces many of the off-task behaviors. 2.Related factors that influence the performance of case student’s behavior (1)personal characteristic─oneself that can’t concentrate on one thing for a long time. (2)The influence of the teacher─give the space of free development to the case student. (3)Type of the course─the concrete and interesting course can reduce the case student’s performance of the off-task behaviors. (4)The influence of the peers─helpers can remind the case student now and then. (5)The influence of the kindergarten─the learning environment is too different for the case student to learn with the peers. (6)The influence of the parents─they don’t care case student’s learning. 3.The relation between off-task behaviors and student’s learning products The case student maybe can’t deal with the high level thinking questions because he shows too many off-task behaviors in the teaching conditions. |
