The subjects are focus on the developing conditions of sugar industry, history development and the reconstruction of modern sugar factory .Discussing what machinism influent the modern sugar factory to change its form and the developing ways in the feature 。 Thinking of the one-hundred-year Chiau-Tao modern sugar industry factory, it through the rise and development of the sugar industry for one century, but now it becomes a declining industry. It is interesting to discover every stages through the sugar industry. So the study is divided into seven chapters, through the examination of Chiau-Tao’s natural and human environments and the discussion of history to show the development of sugar industry in Chiau-Tao. The history shows that the Chiau-Tao’s sugar industry began before Japanese occupied period. Until Japan occupied Taiwan, they set up the first modern sugar industry factory in Chiau-Tao. The new factory improved the production of sugar. Till KMT government period, Taiwan’s sugar industry rose through 1960s. Chiau-Tao modern sugar industry factory ceased to produce any sugar in 1999, because of the impact of many inner and outer influences. the situation caused the attentions of Chiau-Tao county 、 Chiau-Tao Culture-History Association and local people to reuse the space construction of the modern sugar industrial factory. Through the descriptions of office zone、manufacturing zone、community zone, and Chiau-Tao new town also caused the reconstruction of Chiau-Tao sugar industry factory. I design a field work route which is based on the space construction in the sugar industry factory to offer schools to practice. Of course, Chiau-Tao Culture-History Association play a great part in the activities of general community construction in Chiau-Tao. In the recent years, the Chiau-Tao Culture-History Association held all kinds of activities, and I pick up some important activities to analysis how they influent the reconstruction of sugar industry factory and Chiau-Tao. At last, for testing the transferring spirit of sugar industry factory, the research design a questionaire using random sampling way, totally get 602. In the research discover that general people have already change their topophilia of sugar industry factory, they feel it has turned into a place for vocation instead of sugar manufacturing. In the investigation, there are 49% samples hope Chiau-Tao sugar industry can be designed as a sugar industrial museum. So I hope that through the study, I can faithfully record the developing history of Chiau-Tao sugar industry factory 、 her feature change and the process of the people in Chiau-Tao how to manage and reconstruct the sugar industry factory . |
