For avoiding the situation that internal electricity demanded increasing rapidly, compatriots have to economize energy first. For decreasing in wasting energy, it depends on economizing energy with everybody in anytime, and then will avoid the crisis of electricity lacked. The aim of this project is to design and develop an intelligent demand-control system for electricity. The presented Grey-Fuzzy based demand-control system can dynamically forecast the demand of electricity and efficiently adjust the electric facility. This Grey-Fuzzy based electric demand-control system can manipulate the electricity control effectively and avoid penalty. We employed the Grey theory as forecasting means because of its fast calculation with quite a few data required. The established condition and the math mode of Grey theory are very simple to correspond with the system’s requests. However, traditional GM(1,1) model is hardly handle a volatile system like electricity, and it will get the problems of divergence and overshoot. So this project will solve the divergence with the transformed of grey differentiation, and find a set of suitable α(k) quickly by adopting the average slope concept to avoid over forecasting. Hybrid system was proposed combined from fuzzy controller and grey predictor to forecast and control the time-variant electric system. Not only can control the consumption of electricity effectively, but also can cut electric bill.
