| Popis: | 88 Since the development of the Internet, computer-assisted instruction gradually change the presentation style from CD-title to online curriculum. Our laboratory, AI & ICAI Lab., had developed a Web-based learning system “a teaching system for the Chinese characters” at the pass two years. It can direct students to write the correct stroke orders of Chinese characters. However, the interface of the previously proposed system is not flexible and friendly enough for a cooperative learning environment. It is difficult to primary students to use the system for communication. Then, we proposed a Web-based graph and text operating environment such that students can draw the graphs and typewrite the Chinese characters at the same window. The communication becomes very simple for primary students to present their problems to the teachers through the Internet. Many teachers and students can “talk” with each other on this environment at the same time. This on-line learning and communication style will enhance the motivation of students. This system will become a very useful tool in the online cooperative learning environment. In this thesis, we will focus on introducing the techniques in terms of multimedia, Internet programming, database, and ASP, and how to use these techniques to design an online cooperative learning environment. |
