| Popis: | 87 The subject of the study is relating to the design of disk record jacket after World War Two. The sample of study were extensively gathered the disc record jacket from 1945 to 1980, the year around the Restore of Taiwan and before the movement of folk music. The main idea of study is trying to find out the development of those design style by concluding the essential element such as location, time, and personal character, the key point to make up a style, and sorting out the design format by K J method. The investigation accompanied with actual interview for proof and the generalized analysis or verifying to the design element like a picture, letter, editorial composition, and color. It operate in cooperation to the manifestation of style and the factor of formation with deep anatomizing to the expanding of popular music, historical social event, and folklore flirtatious expressions. And also help to understand the form of expression with style and the factor of formation in record disk jacket design during the early year of Taiwan. 1. The culture of disk record in early days of Taiwan were mainly last from "Japanese Style" in the period of Japanese occupation and "Shanghai Style" that accompanied with the moving of government to Taiwan. The change of political power and the diverse of culture become a unique character in the disk record history of Taiwan. 2. Through the analysis of K J method, the "picture" of early disc record jacket can be divided into 8 large classes and 17 small classes that mainly express with figure as demanding. The major expression of "letter" can be divided into 4 large classes and 13 small classes that come up with the change of shape in typeface. The expression of "editorial composition" can be divided into 3 large classes and 21 small classes that show mostly with single picture and the dividing of whole page. The "color" expresses large amount of four-color printing can be divided into 2 large classes and 22 small classes. 3. By means of study in the characteristic of the era, the "image expression " on disk record jacket from the year of 30th to 40th was decorated with simple geometrical pattern or abstract pattern. The "letter expression" shows mostly in hand writing. The "composition expression" revealed the layout in the majority of the left-right symmetrical balance. The "color expression" mostly printed in mono color. Through the year of 50th to 60th, the "picture expression" mostly choose figure illustration and black and white photography. The "letter expression" blended with block letter or handwriting but mostly use transformational letter body. The "composition expression" revealed the type of layout mostly in the division of left and right. The "color expression" mostly printed in brightly color process. During the 70th, the "image expression" mainly chose figure photography as medium and take singer as subject. The "letter expression" mainly use block letter. The "composition expression" mainly filled out full-page with figure photography. The "color expression" printed mainly in four colors. 4. The main point of this study based on historical document to sort out the technical development in popular music, style of melody, and phenomenon of social economy from 1930 to 1980.
