Popis: | 87 A Study of the Homeland Study Curriculum Implementation and Curriculum Materials Evaluation of Elementary School Abstract The main purpose of this study is to investigate the recent practice situation of the homeland study curriculum and to evaluate the product of curriculum materials of elementary school in the selected eight counties and cities of Taiwan. This study adopts document analysis, questionnaire survey, and curriculum materials evaluation, two parts included. The first part is the comparison and analysis for the recent implementation of homeland study curriculum, and the survey to inquiry the opinion of the practice of homeland study curriculum. The data of questionnaire survey are gathered from 322 staffs and three grade teachers at 53 elementary schools in the eight counties and cities. The second part is the qualitative curriculum materials evaluation, using "Homeland Curriculum Materials Evaluation Standard" to evaluate the selected homeland study curriculum materials of elementary school in the eight counties and cities. The conclusions of the study are regarding the practice of homeland study administrative measures, curriculum materials, advanced teacher training, teaching media, resources center, and teaching activities in elementary school. Finally, the study provides suggestions including four aspects: the education administration, curriculum development, practice strategies, and future research. |
