A 900 MHz ISM (Industrial, Scientific and Medical) band wireless receiver with multiple IFs (Intermediate Frequency) had been developed for PC (Personal Computer) input peripherals such as mouse, keyboard and joystick. In the traditional FM (Frequency Modulation) radio broadcasting, it is one to one communications, i.e. one user receives from one broadcasting station. And only single channel can be selected at one time. In this thesis we would develop a receiver that can receive several signals transmitting from deferent remotes. This is in fact an application of FM radios. We successfully communicated with PC as using this application for the input PC peripherals. Unlike the IR (Infrared) products, this microwave technology has many advantages like low cost, low operating voltage, low power consumption, omni-directions, and many channels to avoid the interference. It is more adaptive using the microwave technology for the wireless PC input peripherals. We also studied each of the subcircuit blocks and the performances of the overall system. First, we had analyzed the circuits of interest and discussed the advantages / disadvantages of them in chapter 2. Second, the system architectures of transmitter and receiver had shown and the functions of each block also had been described in chapter 3. Third, some simulations and test results had been listed in chapter 4. Four, we had a detail discussion of the experiments and results in chapter 5. Fifth, we had made a detail discuss and plan some future investigations of this application in chapter 6. This design had applied patterns in Taiwan, Japan, Europe and USA.
