| Popis: | 86 Self-care Behavior and Related Factors of NIDDM Patients at Home in Hualien Area The purpose of this study was to investigate the Self-care behaviors and related factors of patients with Non-Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus by self-report method. Subjects were recruited from patients receiving out patient clinic care at two teaching hospitals of Hualien city. After inform consent was obtained, each subject was interviewed retrospectively for self-care behaviors and related factors. A total of 62 subjects were enrolled. The major statistical procedure applied to process the data were: frequencies, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson''s correlation, and stepwise multiple regression. The results indicated that the "foot care", the "exercise", and the "hypoglycemia-preventing" were the behavioral items of self care having the lowest score.
