Popis:	86 The complexation ability of azulenocrown thers with alkali and alkalin earth ions have been reported before. In this program, the azulene calix[4]arenes are synthesized by using the high- dilution method. The complexation ability of these compounds were studied by NMR spectroscopy and extration methods using their picrate salts.
