Popis: | 85 This research studied the effect of thermal treatment on lead capture with varioussorbents, the leaching behavior of metal-doped sorbent with or without thermal treatment, and the sequential extraction of metal-doped kaolin before and after thermal treatment. After thermal treatment the BET specific surface area of Pb-doped SiO2 decreased from 37.27to 6.30 m^2/g, that of Pb-doped kaolin decreased from 15.90 to 8.61 m^2/g, and the Pb-doped Al2O3vi=rtually remained unchanged (~ 1 m^2/g). U.S. EPA SW-846 Method 3052 could dissolve total heavy metals from SiO2, kaolin and Al2o3.The Cr TCLP leaching concentration of Cr-doped sorbents dried at 105℃ for 3-5 days was 11.9 ~ 40.8 mg/l and 27.5 ~ 79.3 for the 5000 ppm and 10000 ppm Cr-doped sorbents, respectively. The Cd TCLP concentraction of Cd-doped sorbents decreased as treatment temperature and/or time increased. The sequential extraction results of metal-doped (Pb, Cr, Cd) kaolin showed that the sorption of metals to kaolin increased as treatment temperature increased. There was no obviously interactive sorption various metals with kaolin. |
