| Popis: | 84 Document image processing using computers has become more and more useful in different kind applications. The scanner or camera is an essential input component of document analysis system. As getting the document image, it may be skew because of incaution. In this paper, a new approach based on scanning line modeling is used to detect the skew angle and reconstruct the skew image efficiently. Using this concept, the document image can contain less text areas,high noise, tables, figures, flow-chart, and pictures. The approach in this paper can be divided into three parts: 1. Scanning line modeling 2. Skew detection and text orientation determination 3. Image reconstruction The detail ideas of each step will be described in the following sections. |
