Popis: | 83 The goal of this study is to simulate the incompressible flow with free surface. The Artificial Compressibility method and dynamic grid method are combined to solve the incompres- sible Navier-Stokes equations in an upwind finite-volume frame of work. The inviscid fluxes are evaluated by a MUSCL type flux difference upwind scheme using Roe's Riemann solver. The viscous fluxes are evaluated by computing the velocity gradient on the cell faces using Gauss theorem. The free surface are convected in a Lagrangian manner, and the interior mesh is modified accor- dingly.A grid speed which satisfies the geometrical conservati- on law is included in the flux calculations.Subiterations are used to satisfy the divergence-free condition and to eliminate the time lag between the flow solution and the grid movement. The surface tension effects are obtained by a continuum surface force model.Various steady, unsteady, inviscid and viscous tests are performed to validate the present methodology These include the solitary wave propagation, the liquid slashing in a tank, the broken dam problem, and finally the effects of Marangoni convec- tion and Grashof convvection in an open cavity. |
