A Study of The Living-Adjustment of Taipei City's Oldies

Because of the life of human beings is longer than before, the old becomes more and the society changes dramatically, some of the old can not adjust themselves very well. This paper focuses on the characteristic, living condition and requirement of Taipei''s old men. Try to analysis the major course which may affect these three factors. Provide the result for the further research to improve the old men''s welfare. There are four purpose of this research: 1.to realize the characteristic of Taipei old men''s living. 2.to realize their living condition. 3.to realize their requirement. 4.to help government to improve the oldie''s life. I use blank to investigate. I asked 384 oldies whose age is older than 65-year-old. I use average, Chi-square, ANOVA and MNOVA to analysis the data. The result shows 1.Most old make the decision of the family. 2.Most old can make a good adjust in life, health, ease, relationship with family and society: 1.most old can take care with themselves 2.the old pay great attention on the health instead of ease 3.the old do not join the voluntary work very often. They like to communicate with friends and relatives, vote and care about political affair. 4.most old keep good relationship with families. 3.It is obviously different between the requirements of life such as taking care of daily life, ease, health, participation of society, relationship with families, and so on. 4.The characteristic of samples is related factors to living condition, especially the age, marriage, family and decision maker of family. The education and the business before retiring are not related to the living condition. 5.It is most different between requirement of society participation and living condition. The next is need of health and ease. 6.Living-tune analysis examines the relation between the living condition, personal characteristics and living needs. We found there are some dependences between them.
