An approach to pressure distribution measurement on OA seat design

VDT 工作站是辦公室自動化基本組成單元,而VDT 操作員於長久時間工作 下,為避免脊椎變形、腰酸背痛與維持良好坐姿,有賴較佳之OA座椅以提 升工作效率,而好的OA座椅設計,應以降低腰椎受力與壓力分佈為首要目 標。本研究乃運用脊椎生物力學原理應用於VDT 工作站之實驗設計,探討 VDT 操作時其工作坐姿角度變化範圍,並透過EMED SYSTEM 於坐姿變化之 壓力分佈計測,研究椅背傾角與椅面曲度二因素相互變化、組合之較適性 。由實驗計測顯示:從90°至110° 之椅背傾角與460 至700 mm radius 之曲度變化中較佳組合為105° 與520 mm radius ,工作坐姿角度變化之 最適性為78°至105° 與垂直椅面上方20至 25 cm 之腰椎支撐點,並透 過OA座椅實作、驗證、比較,證明本研究模式之可適性。 Visual display terminal(VDT) work station is the basic component in office automation. While working long time at VDT work station, a sedentrary worker depends on a good OA seat to avoid musculoskeletal problems, back pain, to support a good sitting posture and to promote their task performance. Therefore, the first and fore most goal of a proper OA seat design should decrease lumbar spine load and lessen sitting pressure distribution. In this study, my approach is to apply spine biomechanics theory to VDT work station experimental design through EMED pressure mrasurement system to study sitting posture. As a result, the sitting posture is an appropriateness between backrest inclination angle and seat pan curvature interactions. The three results of my paper is listed as follows: (1) A bset combination is 105°(from 90°to 110°on backrest inclination angle) and 520 mm radius (from 460 to 700 mm radius on seat pan curvature). (2) The appropriateness for sitting posture is from 78°to 105°. (3) The ideal lumbar support is above seat pan from 20 to 25 cm. This paper can prove the feasibility of a new OA seat through verification and comparison.
