Popis: | 81 The major objects of this thesis are to discuss the effect of overcoming spillover of large scale flexible structures for vary controller design methods. Firstly, we study an integration method which integrates model reduction and output variances constrained controller design with low pass filter in the loop. The model reduction method used here is Modal Cost Analysis method. It calculates each modal contribution by an quadratic cost function and take the first N important modes as the reduced model. The controller design technology used here is the Output Variances Contrained (OVC). Its concept is to design a controller minimize the input energy subject to output variances constraints. When we want to design a full order controller, The OVC problem reduces to be an LQG controller design problem. A low pass filter located at the measurement output is used to reduce the effect of high frequency modes so that it may overcome the spillover phenomenon. The other method discussed in the thesis is Optimal Projection (OP) method. Its concept is to find an projection matrix which minimizes the cost function to project the LQG controller into a given smaller subspace. The critical procedures of OP are to solve four couple matrix equations and to construct the projection matrix so that it satisfies the rank constraint in the design procedure. As the order of plant increase, there occure many numerical dilemma. We should do in the futur are to integrate the filter design into the desgin procedure, to develope an effective projection matrix constructed method and to use the Homotopic method to solving the Optimal Projection Equations. |
