Popis: Cancer is a disease in which many cellular and subcellular events occur that can eventually lead to much larger complications and often death. The most dangerous of these events contribute to the process of metastasis, or the spread of cancer cells from a primary tumor to elsewhere in the body. For metastasis to occur, several steps must be completed such as cell migration and cell to cell communication via exosomes. Micro and nanotechnology allow us to better understand these events by providing tools which can probe and interact with significant biological processes at the scale in which they truly take place. One type of microtechnology, known as microfluidics, allows precise fluidic control due to predictable laminar flow at the microscale (Re
