| Popis: | We classify the existence and stability of dynamical responses to the small amplitudeperiodic forcing of a system near a Hopf bifurcation point, where the forcingfrequency, omega_F, is close to the Hopf frequency, omega_H. We consider this as a bifurcation problem with omega_H - omega_F as the distinguished parameter. We go on to discuss applications of this research to a variety of physical and physiological systems. |
