| Popis: | Throughout the first four chapters, the proverbs of both peoples have admitted treatment almost as a single group, though attention has been called to those differences which exist in their origins, generation, form, etc. In chapter V, dealing with the content of the proverbs, the policy has been, first, to point out what is typical of each people as portrayed in their proverbs, and second, to illustrate the manners and opinions common to both groups. |
