Popis: | With the knowledge that the design principles of a good virtual course and a good computer-based game are nearly identical, we are developing a computer-based game for physics. The goal of the game is to be a fun and compelling way for a physics student to practice solving physics problems. We imagine a teacher offering students the challenge of getting to a certain level in the video game as a way to prepare for class or study for an upcoming test. Computer games that already exist teach players how to play them in a fun and compelling way. Creating a game that teaches players physics is certainly technically feasible. We take this a step further and explore the feasibility of a game development company specializing in academic physics games. |
