| Popis: | Looking at Russia's experiences with Western sanctions, China is even more eager than before to reduce its dependence on the US-dominated international financial and currency regime. To that end, it is promoting the renminbi as an international currency. Success, however, has been limited. To do better, Beijing would have to implement reforms that are economically very risky. |
