The information on university library websites world-wide is analyzed, as well as the contents and images used to promote information literacy services and programs (IL-INFOLIT). The study aims, on the one hand, to know how university libraries (UL) manage their visual identity related to IL-INFOLIT, what elements they use (figures, logos, infographics, videos) and how, in the face of new challenges (fake news, mining data, open science, artificial intelligence) are updating their content and im-ages; and on the other hand, identify the ULs that offer best practices in the development of IL-INFOLIT con-tent and visual identity. The data was collected online from the «IL-INFOLIT Map in Latin America and the world». A database was created according to its forma-tive characteristics, and an image bank with complete and structured information on the elements of visual identity, allowing content and visual analysis. The results of this review show a vision of the degree of development that these services-programs have, in relation to the con-tent they offer and the promotion of IL-INFOLIT using specific images. Finally, some case-sites stand out as good experiences for benchmarking. |
