In approaching the projection of educational evaluation processes in South America, it is relevant to assess how to investigate the implementation of these practices with a view to obtaining accreditation, it is possible to assimilate that this dynamic arises in response to the requirements of today’s globalized world and to governmental guidelines that are guided by policies of world order. It is also of great interest to consider how the global economy is setting the tone in the demand for professionals who are useful to market interests and new prospects for economic and social development. The governments of the countries of South America are betting on proposals that introduce very subtle changes within the higher education systems, a situation that is significantly affecting the funding of the academic and research dynamics of Latin American universities and that for several years now there has been a perceived reduction in resources and support by governments for many of the public sector universities. |
