It is a fact that the Internet is the greatest electronic source of information that exists today and that the Web contributes to information diffusion foran ever growing and varying audience. Web 2.0 has grown parallel to the Internet and brought about a social change, not only from the new tools it offers which multiply the ways in which knowledge is generated and distributed, but also from the fact that it modifies the way individuals communicate with their surroundings. This project aims to find institutional information in Web 2.0 about Andalusian monuments of artistic and historic interest. Using a select sampling of monuments in Andalusia, Web 2.0's web sites will be analyzed and its specific tools which are used to spread theinformation will be identified. These institutions will also be studied in social networks in regards to their presence, connectivity, interactivity and also it has been determinate what are the Andalusian monuments develop an intensive social communication. This study allows us to determine and elucidate just how and how much these institutions make use of a beneficial tool for spreading information, otherwise known as Web 2.0. |
